Ten countries, three continents...

Why would anyone be interested in what I write?  Fair question!  I am not a literary giant and I don't have bestsellers to my name...

What I do have is a love for language and for telling a story. Many years ago a wise man spoke to me about a mutual acquaintance who took great pride in speaking eight languages.  'It's great to speak many languages,' he said, 'but even more important to have something to say!'

In my youth I studied philosophy, history and politics.  Then entered the world of international business and worked nearly forty years in several European countries, North America and Asia-Pacific.  First in sales and marketing, later in corporate development and finally with mergers & acquisitions.  By the time I settled down on the beautiful west coast of Ireland in late 2013, I had lived in nine different countries and done business in over fifty. I would hope that along the way I acquired some insight into how the world works, and that now when I have the time to write, my readers will find that I do have something to say.

My writing is unapologetically entertainment, because this is my natural approach to literature, but I believe a thriller can and should provoke the reader into thinking while enjoying the ride.
